We call our worship service at LifeChurch Makati “SUNDAY EXPERIENCE!”
In awed of what God is consistently doing!
I am always AWED by God every Sunday Experience! This morning it was not an exemption. Once again He amazed me and left me in awed of His work.
One, this morning was sort of stormy: rain pouring, sporadic flooding and windy in the city. I thought there will be few attendees. In fact when LifeJam (the non-official name of LifeChurch Makati’s praise band) started singing there were a handful of attendees but as the praise and worship continued people came and filled in Glorietta 4 Cinema 1′s allotted seats! I realized also that there were no Sundays LifeChurch Makati has no 1st time guests.
Today, there was a couple who came because of the facebook event invitation! Another couple hesitatingly entered asking the welcomers if they have to pay! There was even a family who came for the first time during the last 15 minutes of the service just in time for the closing of Pastor Craig’s message and my appeal – they came because the father searched for us in the internet and they wanted to be a regular of our church family! Isn’t that amazing?
Two, I was awed more by how the LifeJam blended together in leading the praise and worship. Jibby with Romi Jean leading in the vocals it was awesome! We are so much blessed with professional musicians home grown and those who adopted us as their church family. Worshiping was truly wonderful, I can’t ask for more!
Three, the message has a “lot of tensions” as termed by our admin pastor, Arnold, but all together people appreciated and interacted positively with the message of identifying and rejecting toxic thoughts.
Then at the end I was dumbed-founded by the wonderful response of the attendees and guests as I called for commitment to Jesus. It was an awesome sight of sea of hands raised all over the place!
Today was again an awesome privilege of leading people to Christ with our LifeChurch Makati volunteers!
